1. Jackie Smith – Goal Keeper

Jackie has joined us this year from Southend United. She commands her area extremely well and is a dominent figure behind the back four. She is a good shot stopper whose positional play is first class. Jackie has a friendly personality and has been welcomed to the Team by the rest of the girls.

 

Victoria is one of our goalkeepers and is also one of our senior players. Affectionately known as Bomber! She trains hard and is always looking to improve. A great shot stopper who is very brave and best in a 1v1 situation. She has surprised many this season with her outfield performances in defence when called upon. Strong and determined who certainly doesnt shy away from a tackle.

2. Angela Mottram – Defender

Angela has been with us for two seasons now. She has previously played for Billericay Town LFC and C&K Basildon LFC. She is a quick lively full back who brings strength and experience to our squad as well as being good on the ball.

3. Shantelle Gamble - Defender

 

Shantelle joined us this year from Assandun Vikings. Affectionately known as “Chip” she has fitted in really well and has a lovely friendly attitude. She is quick and lively with a good first touch. She works extremely hard in training and will develop into a very good player this season.

4. Amy Sturgeon – Midfield

Amy is another senior player. A a real lively popular member of the squad who has pace and that bit of adventure needed in any squad. On her day Amy can be a very effective and creative player.

5. Micheala Standing – Defender/Midfield

 
Micheala is a very versatile player happy to play anywhere for the good of the team. She has formed an effective defensive partnership with Shell as the marking Centre Half, able to brake up opposition attacks, good in the air and tidy on the ground. Kayla had her best season with us last year where she deservedly won the Manager’s Player of the Year Award.

 6. Michelle Stoneman – Defender

Michelle is another of our senior players. She is our John Terry, a strong, dominant, uncompromising player who leads by example on the pitch. She is fantastic in the air with a fierce left foot and a good variation of passing. Shell is a must at set pieces and has a cool head from the penalty spot. “Club Captain”

7. Sharna Owens – Midfield

Sharna is another of our senior players.  She always works immensely hard in training and has an extremely powerful right foot which she uses with such precision and quality. Her game is full of energy and determination and is at her best when running at players from midfield areas.

8. Louise Vale – Midfield / Forward

Louise is another senior member of our squad. She has real natural ablility on the ball and is able to spot players runs and pick and deliver the right pass. Louise has added strength and power to her game. She is an accomplished finisher and a match winning player.

9. Kierra Gabriel - Midfield

 

Kierra joined us this year from Brentwood Town. Most of the Ladies have played against Kierra since Girls football and they are all delighted that she has joined the ranks.  A natural holding midfield player, tough tackling, uncompromising, excellent in the air and a sweet right foot that can pick a 50 yard pass with ease. She is a lovely girl and her friendly personality and footballing ability allowed Kierra to fit in with the Ladies immediately. They would all much rather play with her than against her.

10. Grace Clark – Forward

Grace is another senior member of our squad. She is a quick lively player who works really hard along the opposition defensive line making a real nuisance of herself. Grace will run all game, providing a constant outlet and chasing lost causes. She is a natural goal poacher who has a proven goal scoring record at every level she has played.

This is Layla’s third season with us. She is a very hard working playing who brings pace, power and natural width to our squad. Layla is a very direct player who gives good supply from the right for our forwards. She can be just as effective cutting in for a shot.This is a big season for Layla where if she plays to her strengths she can be virtually unplayable for defenders.

 14. Georgia Standing - Midfield/Forward

Racheal joined us this season from Southend United. She is quick and lively with a great engine. She is small albeit tough in the tackle and has an eye for goal. She works very hard in training and drags the Ladies round with the running with her Cross Country background. A friendly girl who has fitted in really well with the Team setup.

17. Lisa Nepean – Midfield/Forward

This is Lisa’s third season with us. She is a GB Deaf International player who is able to play as a forward or in midfield. She works really hard in training, has a superb attitude  and has impressed when she has played. Probably our most improved player last season and we are looking forward to her returning in mid September from representing Deaf GB in the Olympic Games.
